COLOURSCAN UNDER VEHICLE SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM LAUNCHED

January, 2007 Bangkok - Vision Pacific Co Ltd is an innovative technology system company headquarters in Bangkok Thailand. The firm introduces an innovative object detection system, the Colourscan uvss for vehicle inspection.

The product is designed to detect IED bombs or guns attached to the underside of cars and large trucks.

Colourscan uvss eliminates the need for security officers to walk around the vehicle with a mirror as the image of the car automatically is shown on a special computer to do the job.

‘As many as 200 cars can be scanned in an hour; it is good equipment for protecting people and properties from bomb threats’ says Vision’s sales manager, Panida.

Since the earlier bomb blasting in Bangkok southern province and the Bangkok New Year bombing, the engineers have accelerated the product development of the Colourscan.

‘Whilst there are similar products in the world but we think this is good development for Thailand to show our strength in development and manufacturing of high security protection systems’ according to Panida.

The intelligent uvss system comes with a Colourscanner and a computerized processing software application.  The intelligent software is programmed to identify unauthorise vehicles by reading the car plate number
